why is dyeing my hair so therapeutic? after dyeing my roots i usually feel like a whole new person.

am i nerd for being happy that gavin friday decided to follow me on twitter? i know people think twitter is dumb, but i like it sometimes. it depends on how you use it though...some people abuse it and it's really annoying. like posting the most inane details of life constantly. i like inane details here and there but not always. but yeah, gavin friday! his updates are short and weird and funny sometimes.

i forgot to mention my foray into cuisine on halloween. i actually did quite well! the butternut squash/cheese tortellini dish was good but the flavor was subtle. the salad was my shining moment, i guess. then the next day i FINALLY used my toaster that also poaches eggs at the same time and made good breakfast sandwiches. i never thought that i'd enjoy cooking, but i totally did. now i gotta track down some recipes in my scant cookbook collection.

i've had a weird week. up and down and all over the place, but that's not a bad thing, it's actually been sort of centering i think.

tomorrow i am going to model some jewelry for slackjawedgirl! all the earrings i've bought from her plus some other stuff she has. she likes my collarbones, she says. should be interesting as i hate modeling anything and get all critical of myself, but if it's to help a friend out, what can i say?
